NIAGARA FALLS 1996 CENTENNIAL

The commercial generation, transmission and utilization of alternating current using the Tesla/Westinghouse system began 100 years ago on April 20, 1895 with power from Niagara Falls being supplied to the nearby town of Niagara, New York.
