Nikola Tesla's autobiography My Inventions was first published as a 6-part series in the ELECTRICAL EXPERIMENTER magazine, February-June and October, 1919 issues. The series was republished as Moja Pronalasci - My Inventions, Skolska Knjiga, Zagreb, 1977, on the occasion of Tesla's 120th anniversary, with side-by-side English and Serbo-Croatian translations by Tomo Bosanac and Vanja Aljinovic, Branimira Valic, ed. The piece was again published in book form as My Inventions : The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla, Hart Brothers, Williston, 1983, with an 18 page introduction by Ben Johnston.

These web pages all derive from a common source titled The Strange Life of Nikola Tesla, a modified version of My Inventions. It was published in booklet form, a copy of which was found in a used bookstore by John Penner in 1994. The booklet was subsequently found to contain a number of errors, omissions, revisions and also some additions that did not appear in the original serial text as published in the ELECTRICAL EXPERIMENTER magazine.
